On September 7, the Minister of Justice and Security, Dylan Yeshilgöz-Zegerius, awarded the NL CISO Circle of Trust (CCoT) with OKTT status (objectively known as a task). With OKTT status, the National Cyber Security Center (NCSC) and CCoT can work more efficiently as information about incidents and threats can be shared in a timely manner. This further activates public-private sector cooperation.
According to a legislative amendment to the Network and Information Systems Security Act of December 1, 2022, the NCSC may, based on its legal basis, share threat and incident information with an organization that has an objectively known awareness problem (OKTT). other organizations or society. These OKTTs can then provide their support base organizations with that information and advice. Thanks to OKTT status, CCoT can provide timely, current and relevant threat information to its affiliates. This collaboration is an important step in increasing the cyber resilience of interconnected multinational companies.
