In January 2023 American Council on Technology-Industry Advisory Board spent his Blockchain Use Case Summit. NIST Researcher Michael Pease presented on his panel “Operationalization, Blockchain – Production, Supply Chains, Stablecoins and Security”.
Pease provided an overview of the published research in NIST Internal Report 8419, Blockchain and related technologies to support manufacturing supply chain traceability; needs and industry prospects. Pease also discussed some of the key challenges associated with using blockchains to support supply chain traceability, including data security, privacy. In addition, Pease addressed how these topics inform current efforts working with the National Center for Cybersecurity Excellence.
